1. What machines is the Auger Torque X2000 compatible with?
This auger drive is supplied ready to use with our Case CX17C 1.7-tonne excavator, fully set up and tested before delivery.

2. How deep can the 300mm auger drill?
The standard auger length is 1,200mm, giving you a drilling depth of around 1.1m. Depth can vary depending on soil conditions.

3. Can it drill through hard or compacted ground?
Yes. The tungsten pilot and cutting teeth are designed for clay, compacted ground and mixed soils. Extremely rocky ground may require pre-breaking.

4. Is it suitable for fence posts and decking footings?
Absolutely. The 300mm auger is ideal for fences, footings, retaining wall posts, and small structural work.

5. Do I need any experience to use the auger setup?
Basic excavator experience helps, but the setup is simple and safe to operate. We provide a quick run-through on delivery.

6. Does it come with everything I need?
Yes — the auger drive, 300mm auger, hoses, couplers, and the excavator are all supplied ready to go. You just choose your delivery time.

7. Can roots or old stumps be drilled through?
Light roots aren’t a problem. For heavy stump drilling, the auger may struggle — breaking up the material first is recommended.
